The Jacob Austin Band is a family ensemble and have been playing all over Texas and the Midwest since 2007. Their music is mostly traditional country, gospel, Americana, oldies, and original material and all has a bluegrass flavor. The band consists of Jacob who plays mandolin, dulcimer, harmonica and sings lead vocal; his father David, who plays six and twelve string rhythm guitars and sings harmonies and backup vocals with Jacob, and Jacob’s mom Liz, who plays the autoharp.
